Hywind Tampen is a floating wind farm that provides electricity for the Snorre and Gullfaks oil and gas fields in the Norwegian North Sea. It’s the world’s first floating wind farm to power offshore oil and gas platforms and is operated by Equinor.

All J-tube bends have been successfully installed and the project is now producing electricity.

Here can see some of the completed wind turbines with our J-Tube pipes and bends in place.

As a global supplier of metal bending to various offshore projects, it’s great to see how some of the heavy engineered parts that pass through our bending machinery fit into the final project, especially in something that is helping reduce the carbon footprint of the planet and providing much needed alternative energy sources.

We work to exacting specifications demanded by the industry, which enables us to offer a high quality, dedicated service to both sub suppliers and end-users.
